Massaging?

When I first saw these Medela SoftFit Breastshields in target, I pretty much had to have them. For the amount of time i spend pumping, anything that makes it more comfortable is worth the price. That was until I wasted $12 on these. The website states that the soft flexible breastshield massages the breast and areola. Which I am very confused about, first of all the breastshield is not very flexible at all, its mostly hard plastic like the personal fit shield, except for one portion that is rubbery. But it doesn't have any give to it.

I am also wondering why they advertise it as massaging? Nothing about it felt massaging. The plastic yellows a bit every time it is sterilized. Honestly I do not notice any real difference over the personal fit shields, or the ones that the pump comes with.

Had I known this I would have never purchased them, and would love to return them, but they are a non returnable item.

I think this is the same kind I got with my manual pump from the time I went to the ER. I don't notice a difference either. Boooooo.

I did almost buy those once upon a time but didn't. I may or may not have opened them up very meticulously in Target and I couldn't figure out how they were different so I didn't buy them.
