Little Miss Crafty Review/Giveaway

I know it may be a little bit too soon to be thinking about cold weather accessories 

but once I saw these adorable hats, I started thinking about 

ice skating, mittens, and pine cones.

 Just one look at this photo, and my uterus is screaming out "Use me", and while this child in the adorable handmade earflap hat is precious.. I am even more drawn to this photo.

 Yes that is my darling girl sporting a handmade earflap hat from "Little Ms. Crafty".

I was so impressed by this hat, honestly for all I know this is an easy pattern that doesn't take that much time, but maybe it's really hard.. all I can tell you is that I couldn't make yarn look like this... It's beautiful. I really love so many of the unique creations of "Little Ms. Crafty" but this hat my very well be my favorite, especially since it was custom made for Emmaline. 

Lynette{owner/designer check her out at http://littlemscraftycrochet.blogspot.com/} was so lovely to work with, she would keep me updated as to the progress of the hat, she even sent me a few emails with pictures of the different yarns that she had so I could get just the right selection of colors. 

The hat fits E's head perfect, it actually has a bit of growing room which is great since we wont be using it right now. The hat has been pre washed in dreft {baby safe detergent} and is so very soft. I am very excited for E to be stylin in this hat come autumn.

I'm a full-time dental hygienist and a part-time crocheter.  I have a little boy who is an active 2-year-old.  I like creating things in my spare time.  Some of my patterns I have bought from others, and some I have made up on my own with a little guidance from other patterns as to size or shape.  I love the sweetness of newborn baby photos and love how a little hat or diaper cover can really add something to the mood or theme of the picture.  I also love usable items like purses and lip balm covers.

Care & Cleaning

Hand wash or wash gentle cycle in a lingerie bag.  Dry on medium low until slightly damp and then remove to shape and finish drying.

Lynnette also sent me a practical, usable item as well

a chapstick cozy..... what a great idea! This way you can attach it right to your key ring, and always be able to find it. I use mostly tin lip balm, not stick.. But, a stick would fit perfectly and could be hooked onto your key ring, purse, backpack, or gym bag.

Both the earflap hat and the chapstick cozy would make great gifts, wouldn't it be sweet to order an earflap hat for a new baby to wear in its newborn shots?
